Zetron announced AVfusion, an IP-based video and audio recording system that produces high-quality audio-visual recordings of interviews with suspects, victims and witnesses. The system is networked, allowing users to view interview sessions remotely from any secure location on a network. Capabilities include recording multiple interrogation rooms at once, cataloging sessions with entered data or inserted bookmarks, searching and retrieving recordings from other desktops on the network, and zooming in on playback. The system provides high-quality recordings by ensuring that audio and video are permanently synched, which preserves video integrity no matter how many times it is played back, company officials said.
